Hi, I’m Ponraj
I am so excited to be running as your Greens candidate for Point Cook

I am an IT consultant, first-generation migrant and community organiser fighting for stronger investment into our vibrant community in Point Cook. I am an advocate for greater and more schools funding and public transport and I will be a representative for Point Cook who stands up for all residents.
I’m running because we need people in Parliament who are ready to step up to fix the system, not just manage its failures. As a long term local and community organiser in Point Cook, I have seen firsthand how the underinvestment in housing, education and transport and healthcare pushes people to the margins – widening inequality which is fuelling crime and insecurity.
Together I look forward to building a campaign in Point Cook which is welcoming, empowering and driven by real conversations, community care and collective action.

The Greens track record
In the balance of power in parliament the Greens have secured:
$60 million to protect nature and get homes and businesses off gas
Renting reforms including banning no grounds evictions and rental bidding
5000 more empty homes available by making the tax on empty homes stronger
$150 million for bike lanes and pedestrian safety
Proudly supported the first Treaty in Australia
Stopped the renewal of the MoU with Israeli Ministry of Defence
Imagine what we could do with more power after the next election.
